Mary Ellen Zvanut

Mary Ellen Zvanut is a Professor at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), affiliated with the Department of Physics. Her research focuses on defects in materials used for electronic and optical devices, bridging applied physics and materials engineering. She teaches foundational courses in physics, including electricity and magnetism, quantum mechanics, and solid state physics, while mentoring individual students.
