Marva J. Ferguson is an Associate Professor at Mount Royal University with expertise in social work, anti-racism, and disaster management. She holds a PhD from Memorial University and degrees in Social Work from the University of Calgary. Her work focuses on anti-Black racism, migration, and equity, particularly through projects like the 'Quick Response Project' addressing pandemic-related challenges.
