Martina Hardwick is an Assistant Professor in the Department of History at Queen's University. She holds a Ph.D. from Queen's University, an M.A. from the University of Western Ontario, and a B.A. also from the University of Western Ontario. Her research interests span the history of ideas, historical studies, and both American and Canadian history, with a focus on material culture and social history in 19th- and 20th-century Canada.
Dr. Hardwick has taught courses in Canadian survey history, correspondence courses, and material culture's role in historical analysis. She joined Queen's in 1992 as a PhD candidate and has remained affiliated with the institution since. Her office is located in Watson Hall 102, and she maintains a homepage linked through Queen's University.
