Martina Frank is a Full Professor of History of Architecture at Ca' Foscari University of Venice, affiliated with the Department of Philosophy and Cultural Heritage. She holds a PhD and Habilitation from the University of Vienna, specializing in art history with a focus on Venetian architecture, garden design, and transnational art patronage. Her research explores baroque palaces, art academies, and the Galli Bibiena workshop's architectural drawings. Frank is editor of the journal MDCCC 1800 and serves on scientific boards for cultural heritage projects in Europe. She has received the Elena Bassi Award for contributions to Venetian art history and leads international research initiatives funded by institutions like Harvard University and the DAAD.
