Giulia ZANON is a Researcher in Modern History at Ca' Foscari University of Venice's Department of Humanities. She holds a PhD from the University of Leeds (2020) and previously conducted research at the University of Lisbon. Her work focuses on early modern Italian cultural and social history, with emphases on art patronage, religious devotions, and Mediterranean mobility. Current projects include studying the cult of San Francesco di Paola (1545–1800) funded by MUR-PNRR. She teaches courses on modern global history and Venetian heritage across multiple degree programs.
