Dr. Martin Taylor is an Associate Professor in the Department of Infection Biology at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, University of London. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of London and a B.Sc. (Hons) in Biochemistry from the University of Leeds.
His research focuses on:
- Molecular mechanisms of parasitic diseases
- Drug discovery for neglected tropical diseases
- Host-parasite interactions in trypanosomiasis
- Development of novel therapeutic approaches
- Animal models of infection
