Martin James Bartlett is an Assistant Professor of Piano at the Royal College of Music (RCM), where he studied under Professor Vanessa Latarche and earned first-class Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Artist’s Diploma degrees. A recipient of the inaugural Prix Serdang (2022) and BBC Young Musician of the Year (2014), he has performed globally at prestigious venues including Wigmore Hall, Wiener Konzerthaus, and The Kennedy Centre.

Research Interests: Bartlett’s work centers on piano performance, focusing on historical interpretation, Romantic concerti, and contemporary programming. His recordings explore stylistic evolution across Baroque, Romantic, and 20th-century piano works.
