Martin Hoyle

Prof Martin Hoyle is a Professor of Health Innovation and Evaluation at the Macquarie University Centre for the Health Economy (MUCHE). He leads a team evaluating submissions for Australia's Medical Services Advisory Committee (MSAC) and critiquing pharmaceutical company submissions to the Pharmaceutical Benefits Advisory Committee (PBAC). His research focuses on health technology assessment (HTA), oncology drug evaluation, and methodological advancements in pharmacoeconomics. He holds a PhD in Ecology from the University of Cambridge and has extensive experience in advising bodies like NICE in the UK.
