Professor Martin Dombrowski serves as faculty at the University of Music Würzburg, where he is Deputy Speaker of the Piano Department specializing in Piano Performance, Practical Piano Playing in Schools, and Literature Studies.
Born in Giessen in 1962, Professor Dombrowski studied with Reinhard Buhrow and Prof. Wilhelm Behrens at the University of Music in Freiburg im Breisgau, graduating with distinction. He further refined his artistry through master classes with Prof. Edith Picht-Axenfeld and Prof. György Sebok.
His performance career spans international venues across Europe, including Stockholm, Riga, St. Petersburg, Vienna, Milan, Naples, and Madrid, with extensive concert tours throughout Germany and four major tours across 36 Chinese cities. Professor Dombrowski has appeared in over 50 television broadcasts on ARD, ZDF, and international networks.
