Dr. Martin Day is Associate Professor in Memorial University's Psychology Department (Social affiliation). He holds a PhD from University of Waterloo and completed postdoctoral training at Princeton and Harvard. Directs the Societal Cognition Lab.
Research examines how people perceive societal arrangements (e.g., economic inequality) and psychological barriers to system change. Secondary interest in applying behavioral insights ('Nudges') to public policy.
