Martin Block is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the School of Public Health within Imperial College London and serves as Programme Director for the Imperial GP Specialty Training Scheme. He is also a GP Partner and Trainer at York Medical Group, a large practice in York caring for 45,000 patients, and directs its education wing, YMG Learning.

In his career, Martin has held leadership roles in GP education and community healthcare initiatives, including co-chairing the Lambeth Prime Ministers Challenge Fund (£3.5M) to improve GP access. His work spans clinical practice, medical education, and policy implementation.
Fields of interest include Public Health, Primary Care, Health Services Research, and Medical Education. He co-authored two textbooks: GP Cases at a Glance and How to Pass the CSA Exam.
