Professor Martin Attrill is a marine ecologist at the University of Plymouth's School of Biological and Marine Sciences, with over 160 publications focusing on marine assemblages, climate change impacts, and ecosystem-based management. He directs research on Marine Protected Areas through projects like the Garfield Weston Foundation grant and has pioneered the UK's first National Marine Park in Plymouth.
