معرفی
Martin Anil Choudhari is a PhD Candidate in Professional Teacher Education (PROFF) at the University of Inland Norway, affiliated with the Department of Arts and Cultural Studies under the Faculty of Teacher Education and Pedagogy. His research explores marginality, precarity, and exclusion in Norwegian rap music, particularly through the NORHOP project investigating hip-hop's social and cultural roles in contemporary Norway. The project’s working title, 'Breathing Spaces: Rap Lyrics as Wound and Armor? On Precarity, Resilience, and Resistance in Norwegian Rap Music,' aims to examine hip-hop’s potential to foster inclusion and belonging.
Choudhari holds a Master’s degree in Comparative Literature from NTNU and a teacher education qualification from the University of Oslo (PPU). He has 13 years of teaching experience in secondary education, focusing on newly arrived young migrants, along with further education in Norwegian as a Second Language. His work bridges cultural studies, music pedagogy, and social policy.
Though no scientific awards or recent articles are listed, his research contributes to understanding cultural democratization and inclusive education through hip-hop’s lens. The NORHOP project forms a central collaborative effort in his academic trajectory.
