Martijn Willemse

Martijn Willemse is an Associate Professor at Windesheim University of Applied Sciences, focusing on the Professorship Inclusive Learning Environments. He is a member of LessonStudyNL and has held leadership roles in academic associations, including former Vice-Chair of the Dutch Association for Teacher Educators (Velon) and former Chair of the European Association for Practice-based Research in Learning and Professional Development (EAPRIL).

• Research Focus: Teachers' professional development, inclusive education, practice-based research methodologies, citizenship education, family collaboration, and SWPBS (School-Wide Positive Behavior Support).
• Education: Clinical Child and Adolescent Studies (Orthopedagogy) from Leiden University, with a PhD from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam on moral and pedagogical dimensions in teacher education.
