Dr. Marthe Goudsmit Samaritter is a Research Fellow at the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Crime, Security and Law, specializing in criminal law theory and technology-facilitated violence. Her interdisciplinary research examines criminalisation theories, human rights law, and digital-age challenges like image-based sexual abuse, with broader interests in gender-based violence and AI's societal impact. Previously, she served as a Stipendiary Lecturer at the University of Oxford.
