Martha Rudka is a Researcher at Heidelberg University, affiliated with the Faculty of Modern Languages. She coordinates academic programs at the Heidelberg Center for Ibero-American Studies (HCIAS), including the interdisciplinary master's program 'Communication and Society in Ibero-America' and the doctoral training program. Since 2019, she has organized academic projects like HCIAS summer and winter schools, which were funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) in 2021 and 2022.
Her doctoral research focuses on information structure and experimental pragmatics under Prof. Dr. Óscar Loureda. She holds a Master of Arts in translation from Heidelberg University, specializing in German, Spanish, and English. She is also a member of the DPKog research group (focusing on discourse particles and cognition) and the Heidelberg Language and Cognition Lab (HULC Lab).
Martha advises students in English, Spanish, and German and manages HCIAS academic coordination. Her work emphasizes interdisciplinary approaches to communication dynamics in Ibero-American contexts and cognitive linguistics.
