California Institute of Technology (Caltech)معرفی
Professor Martha Grover is a faculty member at the School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology. She received her Ph.D. in Control and Dynamical Systems in 2002 and has been a professor since. Her research group focuses on bridging molecular-scale interactions with macroscale behavior through quantitative modeling and control strategies.
- Education: Ph.D. in Control and Dynamical Systems (2002)
Research Interests include:
- Understanding macromolecular organization and biological function emergence via molecular interactions.
- Developing tractable approaches for systems where non-equilibrium statistical mechanics fail.
- Applications in nuclear waste separation, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and polymer informatics for flexible electronics.
Her group employs techniques such as stochastic modeling, model reduction, machine learning, and experimental design. While specific publications are limited in the provided text, her recent work includes computational studies on nuclear waste slurry processing (2024) and a 2025 review article on Savannah River Site applications.
Teaching highlights include courses in Process Control, Numerical Methods, and Thermodynamics, with collaborations on Experimental Design educational tools.
Group Members span postdocs, graduate, and undergraduate students, with notable alumni such as Stefani Kocevska (2022), Rahul Venkatesh (2024), and current members like Steven Crouse. Her team has secured significant funding, including $11.6 million from the Department of Energy in 2023.
