Martha Golden

Martha Golden is an Adjunct Professor in the Foreign Language Department at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA), where she has taught French in the High School Academic Program since 1993. Her role extends to advising and serving on key institutional committees, including the UNCSA Excellence in Teaching Committee, Student Leadership Board, and SACS Reaccreditation team.

Golden’s dedication to fostering "citizen artists" through student-centered learning is central to her teaching philosophy. She previously chaired the Foreign Language Department and contributed to curriculum development as a member of the School Improvement Team.
