Marta Sanchez Orense

Marta Sanchez Orense is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at University of Murcia, affiliated with the Department of Spanish Language and General Linguistics. She conducts research with the HISTOLEX: History of Spanish Lexicon and Lexicography group.

Her research investigates historical development of Spanish lexicon, with particular focus on Renaissance military terminology, lexicographic traditions, and morphological analysis of specialized vocabulary. This includes studies of lexical borrowing and derivation patterns in historical technical texts.
