Marta Ordon is an academic affiliated with the Faculty of Law, Canon Law and Administration at the Catholic University of Lublin (KUL), where she works within the Department of Religious Law and the Chair of Ecclesiastical Public Law. She has been employed since 1998 and holds a Ph.D. in legal sciences, awarded in 2007.
Her research focuses on ecclesiastical law, canon law, and the legal relationship between the state and religious institutions in Poland, particularly during the 20th century. Key areas include church-state relations, religious policy, constitutional law, and the legal status of religious associations under communist rule.
Marta Ordon has contributed to scientific discourse through conference coordination and participation, including the 2008 conference on funding for church institutions and the 2011 conference on contractual relations between the state and religious associations under Article 25 of the Polish Constitution.
She received the Rector's Individual Award in 2008 for her outstanding service to the Faculty of Law. While no doctoral or master’s students are listed, her academic work supports legal education in administrative and ecclesiastical law.
She has been secretary of PTPW since 2008 and has taught seminars in ecclesiastical public law. Her career reflects sustained engagement with religious law and institutional legal frameworks in Poland.
