Marta Licardo is an Associate Professor in the Department of Preschool Education at the University of Maribor's Faculty of Education. Her research spans early childhood education, social sciences didactics, pedagogy, and inclusive education.
She coordinates international projects like the Erasmus+ 'Algorithmic thinking skills through play-based learning' and 'Learning by doing – attainment of basic competences in ECE'. Her publications focus on immigrant education and teacher competencies.
Awards include the Excellent in Science Award (2016).
