Maria Magnusson is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Didactics and Teacher Practice, Faculty of Social Sciences, Linnaeus University. She specializes in early childhood education with a focus on play-responsive teaching (LRU), early literacy, and the transition to school. Magnusson leads the Research Group for Early Childhood Education Research (FOPP) and participates in the Nordic Early Literacy Education and Play-Based Developmental Pedagogy networks.
