Marsanna Petersen is a Project Assistant and Doctoral Student at Lund University, affiliated with the Faculties of Humanities and Theology and the Department of Cultural Sciences. Her work spans ethnology, cultural analysis, and medical humanities. She is based in Lund, Sweden, with contact details at marsanna.petersen@kultur.lu.se (Room LUX:C414).
- Research Focus: Conspiracy theories, disinformation, Huntington’s disease socio-cultural dimensions, clinical trial ethics, and regional migration studies.
- Projects: CONSPIRATIONS (Horizon Europe), NORDREN (Nordic disinformation resilience), and a 2023-2027 ethnographic study on Swedish truth conflicts.
- Teaching: Instructs courses ETNA14 (Ethnology: Cultural Analytical Perspectives) and TKAN25 (Applied Cultural Analysis).
Her publications (2016-2017) examine Huntington’s disease patient perspectives, academic work environments, and regional history. Collaborations include the Humanities Laboratory and Nordic Network of Conspiracy Theory Research. Active in networks with funding from the Swedish Research Council and Horizon Europe.
