Marquet Sutton is a Consultant Lecturer and Licensed Social Worker/LPC within the Department of Psychiatry at Yale School of Medicine. He serves as a Mental Health Consultant and therapist for individuals and families while actively advocating for mental health awareness in the New Haven community.

Mr. Sutton's professional focus centers on community mental health outreach, particularly addressing trauma in Black men and men's mental health challenges. He combats stigma through public speaking engagements and community initiatives, including an annual clothing drive. His approach integrates motivational interviewing, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, and complementary practices including acupuncture.
His presentations at mental health conferences address critical gaps in men's mental health services, with recent talks including 'Breaking The Stigmas of Mental Health,' 'Helping Men Deal with Mental Health,' and 'The Effects Trauma Has on Black Men.'

Beyond clinical work, Mr. Sutton contributes to mental health discourse as an author, poet, and radio personality.
