Maroš Krivy is a Professor and Head of the Urban Studies MSc Programme at the Estonian Academy of Arts’ Faculty of Architecture. His research focuses on architecture, urbanism, and environmental history in postwar and post-Cold War contexts, emphasizing the interplay between design, power, and knowledge. He has contributed to journals like International Journal of Urban and Regional Research and Planning Theory, and his current project, Urbanism at the End of History, examines how urban experts use naturalistic explanations to overlook social conflicts in global capitalism. Supported by a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellowship, his work critiques neoliberal urbanism and explores post-socialist spatial politics.
