Dr. Marloes van Moort is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Languages, Literature and Communication, Utrecht University, with affiliations to the Institute for Language Sciences. Her research focuses on cognitive processes in reading comprehension, particularly validation of information against prior knowledge, neuroimaging of text-based and knowledge-based monitoring, and combating fake news through digital learning.
