Markus Wörz

Dr. Markus Wörz is a former academic researcher with extensive experience in health policy and social integration. He held roles as Senior Research Fellow at the Research Unit 'Inequality and Social Integration' and the Department of Health Care Management at Technische Universität Berlin, as well as the WZB Research Group on Public Health. His work focuses on health systems, social policies, and institutional reforms. Currently, he serves as a Desk Officer at the Gemeinsamer Bundesausschuss (Federal Joint Committee) in Berlin.

Education: Studied political science and sociology at universities in Tübingen, Edinburgh, and Konstanz (1991–1998). His research spans topics such as health insurance systems, retirement policies, unemployment compensation, and international healthcare comparisons.
