Dr. Markus Schmitz serves in the Science Office at Forschungszentrum Jülich, specifically within the Ernst Ruska Center for Electron Microscopy and Spectroscopy (ER-C). He is affiliated with the Physics of Nanoscale Systems research group (ER-C-1), located in Building 05.2, Room 3001 at the Jülich research campus in Germany.
His research interests focus on nanoscale physical phenomena, electron microscopy techniques, and advanced materials characterization.
