Markus Prandini

Markus Prandini is Professor of Entrepreneurship and International Business at Kalaidos University of Applied Sciences, where he also serves as Head of Transfer Services and Program Director of the Doctor of Business Administration (DBA). In addition, he has held academic leadership roles such as Academic Director for Quality Management in Online Teaching at IU International University and Head of the Center for Asia and International Business at ZHAW.

Research interests include the internationalization of small and medium-sized enterprises, innovation and entrepreneurship, digital transformation, strategic management, and leadership development. His work bridges academic theory and practical application, particularly in fostering entrepreneurship and guiding organizations through digital disruption.

He has designed and directed multiple executive education programs—among them Digital Transformation: Platform Strategies for Success (MIT Sloan), Digital Disruption: Digital Transformation Strategies (Cambridge), and Customer Centric Solutions with Design Thinking & Innovation (NUS)—underscoring his commitment to lifelong learning and managerial capacity building.
