Markus Klammer serves as the Schaulager Professor of Art Theory within the Department of Art History at the University of Basel and acts as deputy director of eikones – Center for the Theory and History of the Image. His institutional affiliations include the Philosophisch-Historische Fakultät and the Kunsthistorisches Seminar, with offices located at St. Alban-Graben 8 and Rheinsprung 9/11 in Basel.
