Markus Hausmann

Markus Hausmann is a Professor of Topology at the University of Bonn since 2023. His research focuses on equivariant homotopy theory, with groundbreaking work on bordism theory and symmetry of spaces, including a 2022 publication in the Annals of Mathematics. He received the prestigious Minkowski Medal 2025 from the German Mathematical Society (DMV) for his outstanding contributions to mathematics.
