معرفی
Tobias Lenz is a Researcher (postdoctoral academic) at the Mathematical Institute, University of Bonn, where he works in the Topology Group. He was previously a postdoc at the University of Utrecht (2022–2024) and the University of Bonn (2021–2022). He completed his PhD at the University of Bonn in 2021 under the supervision of Stefan Schwede.
Education:
- PhD in Mathematics, University of Bonn (2021), supervised by Stefan Schwede
- Postdoc at University of Utrecht (2022–2024)
- Current Postdoc at University of Bonn (2021–present)
Research Interests:
Tobias’ research focuses on advanced topics in homotopy theory and higher categorical structures. Key areas include:
- Higher Category Theory: Exploring universality properties of span constructions and Barwick’s unfurling, which provide foundational insights into categorical structures.
- Equivariant Homotopy Theory: Investigating genuine vs. naïve symmetric monoidal G-categories, norms in equivariant homotopy, and parametrized semiadditivity.
- Algebraic K-Theory: Connecting global algebraic K-theory with Swan K-theory and studying its interactions with equivariant and parametrized homotopy.
- Global Homotopy Theory: Developing global model categories and topological André-Quillen cohomology, as well as parametrized stability and global spectra.
