Dr. Marko Perović is a Full Professor at the University of Belgrade's Faculty of Forestry. He holds a doctoral degree in dendrology and has conducted international research in Germany and Italy. His expertise spans dendrology, floristics, plant ecology, and forest community ecology. He has authored/co-authored over 50 scientific papers and textbooks, including Dendrology and Practical Textbook in Dendrology. He actively participates in teaching courses on dendrology, forest resources, and environmental protection across undergraduate, master's, and doctoral programs. His research focuses on Balkan flora conservation, plant taxonomy, and forest ecosystem dynamics. He has supervised 21 master's theses and 128 final projects, contributing to 12 research projects and four COST actions. His recent work includes studies on willow species in Vojvodina and mapping forest sites in Serbia.
