Mark Zondlo

Mark Zondlo is a Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Princeton University, serving as Director of Graduate Studies in CEE and a member of the Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment. His research focuses on atmospheric chemistry, aerosol dynamics, and laser sensor development to address air pollution and climate change. He leads the Atmospheric Chemistry and Composition Group, which develops optical sensors for field measurements and integrates spatiotemporal data from in-situ and remote sensing systems.

Research interests include nitrogen and carbon cycle interactions, greenhouse gas emissions from wastewater treatment, and ammonia dynamics in ecosystems.
