Mark Westgarth

Professor Mark Westgarth is a faculty member at the School of Fine Art, History of Art and Cultural Studies at the University of Leeds, where he serves as Director of Postgraduate Research and leads the Centre for the Study of the Art & Antiques Market. His expertise spans the history of the art market, museum theory, and histories of collecting, with a focus on the role of 19th–20th century art and antique dealers.
