Mark Street is a Senior Lecturer in Drama at St. Mary's University. He has over 15 years of experience as a theatre director, filmmaker, and acting tutor, collaborating with institutions like the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. His work spans short films, commercials, and award-winning theatre productions, including the feature-length documentary The Space: Theatre of Survival (broadcast on Sky Arts).
Research interests focus on interdisciplinary performance techniques, such as using dance/movement to explore societal misconceptions about age (collaboration with Vanessa Ewan) and developing actor-process methodologies for stage/screen transitions.
