Dr. Mark Soileau is a researcher affiliated with the University of Hamburg's Cluster of Excellence 'Understanding Written Artefacts' (UWA) since 2019. His work focuses on manuscript cultures, digital preservation, and cultural heritage analysis.
He leads the project 'Mapping the Vilayetname Manuscript Tradition in Space, Time, and Culture' (2024–2025) as part of UWA's interdisciplinary research initiatives. His office is located in Room 3006 at Warburgstraße 26, Hamburg.
