Mark Shevlin is a Professor of Psychology at Ulster University (Coleraine) and an Honorary Professor of Psychological Research Methods and Statistics at the University of Southern Denmark. He has been with Ulster University since 1998, previously lecturing at Nottingham Trent University. His research focuses on trauma, PTSD, complex PTSD, and latent variable modeling in mental health. He has over 400 peer-reviewed publications and an h-index of 54.

Research Interests: Psychological measurement, PTSD/complex PTSD diagnosis, psychometric instrument development, and global psychotraumatology. He contributed to the WHO’s inclusion of complex PTSD in ICD-11 and led validation of the International Trauma Questionnaire.
