Mark Phillips

Dr. Mark Phillips serves as an Associate Professor in the School of Leadership at the University of the Cumberlands. His academic position focuses on historical leadership and organizational transformation within the university's leadership program.

Dr. Phillips specializes in the study of historical leadership and organizational transformation. His research interests bridge theoretical leadership frameworks with practical organizational change methodologies, focusing particularly on how historical leadership models inform contemporary organizational development.

Outside of his academic role, Dr. Phillips serves as the Senior Army Chaplain for the Tennessee National Guard, demonstrating his commitment to both academic and military service. In his personal life, he enjoys fly fishing and quilting with his wife, Regina.
