Mark McInroy is a Professor and Associate Department Chair of Theology at the University of St. Thomas, College of Arts and Sciences (CAS). His research focuses on modern Christian theology, particularly the theology of Hans Urs von Balthasar, theological aesthetics, and deification in Christian traditions. He teaches courses such as Theological Anthropology, emphasizing Catholic perspectives on human nature and ministry.

His research integrates patristic, medieval, and Reformation theologies, exploring themes like mystical theology, perception, and East-West Christian relations. He has received prestigious awards like the Manfred Lautenschläger Award for Theological Promise (2015) and a Distinguished Early Career Grant (2018-2020).
