Lucy Gardner serves as Tutor in Christian Doctrine at St Stephen's House, University of Oxford. Her research spans historical/systematic theology, with focus areas including Hans Urs von Balthasar's works, ecclesiology, and intersections of doctrine, spirituality, and pastoral practice.
Research interests include feminist theological responses to tradition, prayer practices, and Christian-Muslim dialogue. Since 2010, she has participated in Georgetown University's Building Bridges Seminars, facilitating theological exchanges between Christian and Muslim scholars.
