Mark Lawall is a Professor in the Department of Classics at the University of Manitoba's Faculty of Arts. His research focuses on transport amphoras as key economic indicators in ancient Mediterranean trade networks, with fieldwork experience at sites across Greece, Turkey, Cyprus, and Egypt.
