Mark L. Joseph, PhD, is the Leona Bevis/Marguerite Haynam Professor in Community Development at Case Western Reserve University's Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences. He serves as founding director of NP3: Nurturing People. Power. Place., leading research on urban equity strategies across U.S. and Canadian cities. His additional affiliations include faculty roles at the Center on Poverty and Community Development, governance positions with the Urban Affairs Association, and editorial board memberships for four academic journals.
