Milen Embaye

Milen Embaye (also known as Milly) is a Research Associate at the Begun Center for Violence Prevention Research and Education, part of Case Western Reserve University's Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences. With over five years' experience as a Data Manager in the university's School of Medicine, she brings substantial practical expertise to her current research role. Her academic credentials include a BSc in Biology from Western University and an MPH from Case Western Reserve University, and she is currently advancing her business acumen through an MBA program at Weatherhead School of Management.

Embaye's research centers on improving community health outcomes through multidisciplinary approaches. She specifically investigates:

• Social determinants impacting population health
• Violence prevention strategies
• Community-based health interventions
• Health equity frameworks
• Public health data analysis methodologies

Through the Begun Center, she collaborates with diverse teams to address systemic health challenges.
