David B. Miller

David B. Miller is an Associate Professor at Case Western Reserve University, holding dual appointments in the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences and the Department of Population and Quantitative Health Sciences at the School of Medicine. As the OMEGA Project Engagement Officer, his research focuses on health disparities among African American males, particularly prostate cancer awareness and chronic stress in adolescents. He also investigates the intersection of social justice and public health.

Research Interests: Chronic stress, health literacy, racial disparities in healthcare, prostate cancer screening, and social work advocacy. Miller’s work bridges clinical research and community engagement, emphasizing evidence-based interventions to address systemic inequities.

His recent articles explore themes including Long COVID outcomes, tobacco cessation interventions, and the impact of racial discrimination on hypertension. Miller is a member of the Population and Cancer Prevention Program at the Case Comprehensive Cancer Center, contributing to translational research initiatives.
