Mark H. Walker

Mark H. Walker is Associate Professor of Sociology at Louisiana State University. His research examines the interplay between social networks, identity formation, and mental health outcomes, with particular focus on spatial inequality in housing, crime, and neighborhood change.

His work integrates political economy perspectives to analyze how marginalization and exploitation shape spatial disparities in crime and justice outcomes.
