Mark Fetkewicz is a Professor of Graphic Design at the School of Art and Design, University of Northern Colorado (College of Performing and Visual Arts). He leads the Graphic Design program and teaches all levels of coursework, with over twenty years of teaching experience across institutions like Edinboro University, Moore College of Art, and University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
- Education: M.F.A. in Graphic Design (University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign), B.F.A. in Painting (Colorado State University)
Research Interests include design pedagogy, aesthetics, visual communication theory, and interdisciplinary applications of graphic design. His work bridges traditional and digital techniques, focusing on typography, branding, and cultural narratives.
Mark has received regional and national design awards and presented at international conferences such as the IAEA Biennial Congress in Dresden and the Design Principles and Practices Conference in Vancouver. He advises student organizations like the AIGA chapter and Bare Graphics club.
