Mark Erle

Mark Erle is a Professor of Practice and Associate Chair in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at Lehigh University. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering (Lehigh University, 2008), an M.S. in Electrical Engineering (University of Vermont, 1996), and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering (Penn State University, 1990).

His research focuses on Strategic Technology Planning, Technology Strategy, Information Management, and Content Management. Prior to academia, he worked at IBM designing microprocessors and at Talen Energy architecting cloud-based applications. He holds multiple patents and has authored publications in his field.
