Mark Dundas, MD, serves as an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedics & Rehabilitation at Yale School of Medicine. As a board-certified physiatrist specializing in physical medicine and rehabilitation, he focuses on nonsurgical sports medicine and orthopedic care through Yale Medicine. His clinical philosophy emphasizes holistic assessment of patient function, considering systemic factors like sleep, mood, and nutrition alongside imaging results.

Dr. Dundas' research explores regenerative medicine applications for arthritis and tendinopathy, while his clinical work integrates biomechanical principles from his early laboratory studies. Prior to his current role, Dr. Dundas completed residency at University of Washington (2017) and fellowship at The Hospital for Special Surgery (2018). He holds dual board certifications in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (2018) and Sports Medicine (2018).
As team physician for the Connecticut Whale Women’s Professional Hockey Team, he provides comprehensive care including pre-season physicals, game coverage, and injury recovery timelines. His additional service roles include Pain Neuroscience Education Class lecturing and community engagement with Milford Public Schools.
