Mark David Siegel, MD, is a Professor of Medicine (Pulmonary) at Yale School of Medicine and Program Director of the Yale Traditional Internal Medicine Residency Program. He completed his MD at Columbia University, residency at the University of Pennsylvania, and pulmonary/critical care fellowship at Yale. His clinical expertise includes intensive care, pulmonary diseases (e.g., COPD, asthma), and end-of-life decision-making in critically ill patients.
His research focuses on end-of-life care in ICUs, sepsis/ARDS treatment, and medical ethics in resource allocation.
